Hey being 21 now…

whats up?

Ended up going to Aruba Steve’s last night, Don bought me an aruban sunset, and my cousin and minda each bought me shots of Jameson, and i got a free shot from the bartender.  And I’m not dead. Haha

Don told me my birthday present.  He got us reservations to the wine dinner on June 10th at Cafe Luna.  I am so pumped!  I love him very much.  :o)

Now to go buy a bottle of wine and take over mohegan for the day

Spartan Beast Training..

So due to my ankle injury back in March, most of my training had to be postponed.  Not being able to run, climb or really do much of anything kinda put a stop to it.  

Now, since i can now do all those things again due to the magic work my physical therapist has seemed to perform, and since school is over, Don and I have come up with somewhat of a training schedule for ourselves to train for the beast.  We’re going to home depot today to get sandbags, and I plan on stealing buckets from work to fill with rocks.  My sister is also bringing my cones from soccer back up for speed work and agility.  This training in a way is also doubling as PT work for me haha

it consists of:

-Climbing 4 times a week (time range from 45 min to 2 hours, both bouldering and rope climbing)

-Sit up, Push up, and Pull up sets after climbing, while still at lincoln

-Running Hill sets at Roger William Park (one short hill, one long, with push ups in between each hill sprint)

-Carrying Sand Bags/Rock Buckets up the hills at Roger William Park

-Long Distance Runs

-Hiking and Bouldering in Lincoln Woods and Purgatory Chasm

-Swimming at the beaches

-Cone Work (shuffle, weaving, ect)

-Box Jumps

Pretty Much, you get the picture.  Its gonna be interesting/fun.

Today, we went climbing for about 45 min, then did a 15 min ab workout afterwards.  We then went to roger williams parks and did 10 short hill sprint repeats and five long hill repeats, with push ups inbetween each sprint.  

Now am i covered in much and ready for some lunch and a shower.  But I feel the work was well worth it.  AROO!

Hey eatcleanliftheavy, this is partially for you.  Haha, so you dont think I’m slacking off and drinking my weight in beer.  :oP
